I finally made it ...  ... thanks Kristin for letting me in ... I'm just another Hugh aficionado just like all of you and I'm glad that I found this place ... I don't have time to post that much but I'll try not to be a "stranger" I "found" Hugh last year and I'm still wondering how I could oversee this man ... apart from his look it's his attitude that I like very much, he seems to be such a nice and inspiring person ... well ... it's nice to be here and I'm looking forward to get to know all of you ... see ya btw I'm German so pls forgive my english ... |

There are periodic forum purges and unfortunately inactive accounts get disabled. If you go too long without logging in the board automatically marks your account as inactive and it probably just got swept up with the rest.

That's what it is - if you don't post or don't log in, every six months I do a purge, and any inactive accounts get deleted. I personally don't think it's fair for the majority of the members to just lurk and never post, while 10 or so people keep the whole thing going. If someone is going to at least post every once in a while, fine, but if they're not going to post at all, then I'd prefer that they don't register. I've had to ban a few people from the board for taking content posted to this board and posting it elsewhere, and all but two of them were people who never even bothered to post here, they just wanted to steal stuff, basically. |

It's the 70 other people who either rarely log in, or don't post, and then when I delete their accounts for inactivity, they wonder why. I know a lot of people aren't comfortable posting, but then perhaps they should consider a more public forum. I'm not trying to push people away, in fact, I want new members, but I want them to participate, and that's very rare. Most of the people who post on a regular basis are people I knew before I even started this forum. I can't make the forum public, because I don't want to upset anybody who likes the privacy of the forum the way it is, and I don't want to bait the people that just want to come here and steal photos. |

Drova, you're welcome to reregister, but just keep in mind that if your account shows inactivity in November (November 20th, to be precise) when the next purge happens, it will get deleted again, unless you tell me by that time to exclude you from the purge. |
