Claudia Black is best known for Farscape and Stargate, to me anyway. She was great in Farscape but she did also a theater and I met her last year at a convention. what an interesting lady. Oh so awesome that you've met her! I have to admit those two series never really appealed to me, except for the actors who played in Farscape. The list of actors I know who has a role in Farscape is endless, so I might eventually give it a go once I find the time. But the genre... no thanks. That means you must know Gigi Edgley (Chiana) and maybe even Tammy MacIntosh (Joolushko Tunai Fenta Hovalis...gee what kind of name is that even?! But I think they called her Jool in the series, at least I hope so. ) as well? I'd love to meet those two. Gigi Edgley has such an amazing energy and she's so kind, I wish I had the energy she always seems to have. You should check out her Facebook page to see what she's up to now! She also follows me on Twitter!

I have photos and autographs with them Gigi was full of energy, VERY skinny (some people are just built that way), looked fantastic and she actually was first one I ever heard to admit that she made a living from covnentions for a while when she was out of job right after Farscape. I know she is doing OK now, she is on some detective show, right? Jool was one of my favourite characters on Farscape, they were all great (characters and actors) and the show was mostly Australian production so there were a few former Hugh´s costars as well in guest roles I am a big sci-fi geek as the others here will probably tell you so I often cheer over some Hugh´s choices (like Chappie) while the others are not that excited (which I can understand

Yeah she's very skinny, I think that's mostly genetics though! She seems so funny as well. She's now doing a lot of comic cons in the US and racing on her unicycle! Yes on a UNICYCLE! I don't know about any detective show though, I know she also presents Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge on the Syfy channel, but can't remember anything about a detective show. Her last TV series in Australia (Tricky Business) was unfortunately a big flop. Tammy MacIntosh (Jool) is still one of my favorite actresses, I even knew her before Hugh! haha I already thought so! I'm one of the "others" then. lol Never really liked sci-fi to be honest. Like Chappie has never appealed to me either, except for the fact that Hugh Jackman is in it, otherwise I would never have watched it!

Yes, I am as geeky as you can get and I think it gets worse with age. My parents hoped about 20 years ago, when it started with Star Trek and Stargate, that I will grow up from it but I think after I started to work and I have my own money, I just can develop the hobby. So I have not just DVDs and books (but those are non sci-fi as well, because I love all genres), but some action figures as well. I have a Doctor Who themed mug at work and Borg cube "bubble head" on my work computer. And bag in the shape of Nintendo console Fortunately, I work in a company where they don´t care what you wear or do as long as you do your job

I grew up watching Aussies series and it only got worse from there, though I'm only 21 now. But I started watching Aussie series at the age of 5, I used to watch The Flying Doctors with my mum. So I totally know what you mean!
