Finally tomorrow my husband and I start our trip to NYC. I'm very excited and nervous and everything, the highlight will be the play on Tuesday (hopefully). I'll be back...

Thanks for all your good wishes, they helped to make it really a perfect trip! It was such a wonderful experience, the city is great, we met many nice people, even my husband who didn't want to go there in the beginning enjoyed it so much!
And I loved the play, both, Daniel and Hugh, were excellent, but of course my eyes were almost the whole time on Hugh. I went to the stagedoor several times and seeing him again in person (after this year in April in Berlin) right in front of me will be unforgettable.
There were three other members of a German board with me and we had a book for him with pictures of the board members and their hometowns, and he really seemed to like it, because he thanked us again the next day and said, he had shown it to Deb, who loved it too! After that we were high up in heaven, he really knows how to please us ladies ;D!

Glad you had such a great experience. I remember in the spring of '04 Hugh was given a book of red board postings. I always wondered whether he ever looked at it.

Yes, I should have been more specific. I wonder what he thought of our show reports, if he even read them. Although he has stated publicly that he doesn't read reviews, his reference to--what was it--"those lousy critics" or "those stinking critics"--at the last TBFO when he defended the performances by his castmates and the integrity of the show overall does come to mind.
