Hello, I'm new to this forum.
I'm kind of a new fan of the wonderful Hugh Jackman.
I 'discovered' him about 1.5 years ago and really like him as a person (or what you can see in interviews) and most of his films and stage work.
I'm very much looking forward to future projects (especially Les mis) and think it's nice to talk about it (and him) with people who are also fans.

Welcome, Rose. I look forward to reading your posts. What was it that turned you into a fan? I saw the DVD of Oklahoma! and X-men 1, around the same time. When I usually see a movie I like, I go and see if the actors in it made more I like, so I did that. On youtube I looked up different interviews and really liked his down to earthness and humour. I cannot say I liked everything he have done. Also I'm a little scared to share here that I don't really like his voice in the snippets on youtube I've seen from the Boy from Oz.  But I liked his voice in Oklahoma! and the opening from the Oscars, so I hope the different voice in TBFO was part of the character. I look forward to posting here, I see I have a lot of catching up to do, cause I don't want to make remarks that have been made a billion times before  But when I do, please forgive the newbie  |

They played Oklahoma on our local PBS channel just after X2 release. He got one bar into Oh What A Beautiful Morning and I just died and went to heaven. My actual favorite number from it is Surry with the Fringe on Top. It's so cute and his voice is so real. |
