Hey all y'all,
I'm an HJ fan since late 2004. Somehow I missed our 'super stud' until my teen aged daughter said to me, "Hey mom, check out this dude in the movie." The movie being X1. I saw. I fell.... in lust!. I immediately become a movie-verse expert of Logan/Wolverine. That wasn't enough and I began to write fanfiction about Wolverine. Next came connection with true comic verse Wolverine and I now am reasonably multi-versed in Wolverine. At the same time I studied everything HJ has done and have collected said DVD's of everything I can. I am lacking but working on attaining Corelli and Snowy River being the only ones I do not own on DVD. [it's a royal pain converting my computer between DVD zones].
Ok, I've pledged undying devotion to Hugh Jackman. In real life I am an almost empty-nester. Married to an amazingly tolerant man. He's a former Top Gun F-14 pilot. [Wouldn't HJ have been a great 'Maverick'?] Two married daughters and one adult son, who still lives at home--sorta. I work for a 6 doctor OB/GYN practice in Plano, Texas. I'm a registered medical coder. Fancy name for someone who files all the insurance claims and deals with insurance bulls**t. Hey, it pays the bills.
I write fan fiction at Fanfiction.net under the pen name MidLifeCrisis. Obviously under category X-Men/Wolverine. Check it out if you like. When I'm not indulging in that past time, I'm keeping up with daily life.
Look forward to connecting with y'all on this forum.
Warmest regards,
Dee

Hey Dee, Welcome to the best place for Hugh adoration. Enjoyed your reference to the Tomcat. I grew up in a Navy family and my dad's post-military career was as the program director for the F-14 so that rang real familiar I agree that Hugh would have mad a great Maverick.

*waves hello* Hi! Always nice to meet a fellow Wolvie fan. Hope you enjoy yourself around here. Just to keep things tidy I've moved this thread from the announcements board into this comfy spot with the other welcome posts.
