I'm a wreck during these things - I kept flipping the stations. I probably didn't even see half the game!
I'm glad they aren't going to be playing the Sox - I think.
It will be ironic if they go to the World Series and so do the Dodgers, who have their former manager Joe Torre. And the manager of the Yankees is one of Torre's former players.
Oh.... clubhouse celebration!!!!

Last time the Yankees were in the World Series - 2003. Hugh was on Broadway then. Now, it's 2009, Hugh is back on Broadway and the Yankees are 4 wins from going to the World Series....

Yeah, football....oh wait, that's actually played in NJ. Hey! First off, you're a bigger Giants fan than I am, and second, it's not their fault that NJ built them a sports complex and NYC wouldn't. Cheap bastards...

Probably means the Phils will win it all again.

My boys will start the series at home - and if they go into Philly or LA with a three-game lead, it won't matter how tired they are - they'll be back home at the wind tunnel for the sixth game and jack 'em all out at blazing speeds.

I'm pretty sure we have one of the best road records, so not worried about that.
