Yeah and the Yankees are tired after fighting off the Angels.

Yeah and the Yankees are tired after fighting off the Angels. Two words - Aura and Mystique. You'll see. Oh, and here's another - Mariano Rivera. Greatest closer in the history of baseball. What's hysterical is that all the Red Sox and Mets fans are totally jumping on the Phillies bandwagon. The Sox fans I can understand, but the Mets fans rooting for Philly? No way.

I'm just glad it didn't have to go to Game 7 since that would have totally screwed up our pitching staff.
I can see the Mets fans rooting for the Phillies because you know what? I'm the same way - if the Mets were in the World Series I would totally want them to lose and I know a lot of people the same way. At least in my experience, you can't be both a Yankee and Mets fan and they always root against each other!
Aura and Mystique! Don't fail us now! And so glad we have home field advantage! Should be a great series.

I don't get that either. It would be like me rooting for the Eagles......um, NEVER...... I like the Yankees though, so at least if we do lose (which won't happen), I won't hate them for life...just a few weeks LOL. My friends from North Jersey came to visit for the weekend and they packed in a Mets bag. What's wrong with them?

Should be a great series. Your home field isn't going to matter in games 3 and 4 in Philadelphia and remember we do have a hell of a road record. Should be an interesting week though. So when we win, Kristin, I guess LT will have to sit between us at the show on the 18th LOL.

How about having two brothers being Mets fans and one having a 2-year-old who's always wearing Mets gear, and having a sister that has two boys who are huge Yankee fans but their dad is a Mets fan?

Kinda like my dad having to deal with me as a kid wearing Giants and Dolphins gear, and we had season Eagles tickets.

LMAO), 5 (in Philly) and game 6 back in New York - and we have the BEST home record.

Pfft.....You're not getting games 1 and 2 though. I think the first two will be split....then 2 of 3 in Phila will go to us...then I start not to be able to beathe so well LOL.

I know it didn't hurt them last year.....just hope for the same.....and that Lidge stays focused. The pitching choices for Game 1 should make for a great game.

The Yanks have hit Lee before. Pedro - well, just you wait and see. Something always happens with that guy vs. the Yankees. These teams match up very, very well. Lidge seems to have gotten back to 2008 form for the postseason, so that's formidable.

Lidge has been on, but he was perfect last year and you know how he made me nervous.
It's going to be a great series.

I think I'm pretty much going to have Hugh all to myself for the next week or so. May not give him up when you all wander back.
