Are they intentionally locked from having new posts? I'm talking about the subforum which has year-by-year galleries of photos from different premieres, etc etc. I haven't poked around in there much (although I should!), but I do sometimes stumble in there when I'm looking up something obscure, such as today when I was looking up info on "Standing Room Only". Found a delicious bunch of photos from its US premier here: hughjackmanforum.proboards.com/thread/2238/premiere-standing-roombut noticed that I couldn't post on the thread. It seems like all those forums older than 2010 are like that. It's absolutely fine because I don't HAVE to post (I'm mainly just happy the pictures are mostly still there!!!) but wasn't sure if it was supposed to be this way or only by accident.

It's intentional. What happened is we had a new poster, who at first was really nice and friendly, but she kept posting in all these old threads - which is understandable, you find something you want to comment on, so you do, but it was really obsessive and I got so many complaints from the other members that I had to lock the older threads from posts. She later took some photos that one of the mods got from a private site with permission to post here, and posted them to the Ozalot board without first asking the mod who posted them if she could, and I posted a reminder that all members should ask to repost stuff, since so many pics are stolen to begin with. I admit my "warning" was probably a bit too bitchy, but she got really mad, quit the board and then spent the next few weeks stalking this board and trashing me and the board to the Ozalots, who couldn't have cared less.

Okay, thanks, Kristin. No problem. I hope I haven't been posting too obsessively!!!! I know I do go back and post on some pretty ancient threads.
Speaking of borrowing pictures, I hope it's okay if I raid some of your old posted photos for my avatars here. Like this VH-era one, which came from that thread I linked. I DON'T use or post them anywhere else.

She was a long-time fan who wasn't actually discussing things, just basically bumping threads, which messed up the "recent posts" because it used to be that you could only see 60 recent posts, and half of them were posts from her in old threads saying "I love these photos!" and stuff like that. It was kind of annoying, even though I completely understand that there's a lot of old stuff on here to look through, if you're so inclined. I should probably archive some of it. Absolutely, you can use any of the photos in those threads for personal use, that's fine.
