There used to be a "Forum" tab at the top of the page between "Home" and "Recent Posts", which allowed you to just display all the forums and subforums on the board. As of today, it's gone. Is it just me? How do we get to that view now?

I'm currently stuck at Penn Station, but as soon as I can, I'll take a look at it.

I don't know what happened, but I'm now at home and not at work and the Forum tab is back. Kristin, isn't Penn Station fun - NOT. Luckily I didn't have any delays tonight, except my train was about 5 mins. late getting into the station but it made up the time.

I had posted about the unexpected disappearance of "Forum" under "Updates," thinking that maybe an update was in progress that had thrown the tabs out of kilter. But now I see "Forum" is back in its snug little spot. Yay!

Did you take Amtrak and not Metro North? I did see on the "big board" in Penn that some Amtrak trains were delayed. Of course when NJ Transit is delayed it's always Amtrak's fault because they run on the same tracks and Amtrak "owns the tracks."

Yeah, and Amtrak and I are now mortal enemies. Considering that they get almost $1.5 billion from the US government each year, there is no excise for this train that is now 3.5 hours behind schedule.

I believe there was something on the NYC news yesterday about people waiting hours for an Amtrak train that never arrived. Those same people were also told to wait on the wrong platform by an Amtrak employee. I haven't had the need to ride Amtrak for a number of years, fortunately.

Those same people were also told to wait on the wrong platform by an Amtrak employee. I haven't had the need to ride Amtrak for a number of years, fortunately. Heh, welcome to my NJ Transit world. I could write a book. I've waited hours for trains, told service was suspended and you had to get to Newark to get a train (which involves taking PATH, which means you have to get out of Penn Station and walk three blocks to the PATH station along with the rest of the world and get on a cattle-car train and you even have to TRANSFER at another station to get to Newark which all involves at least an hour, so now I just wait it out), been late because of "signal problems", been put on the wrong platform, been on trains where people are "hanging out the windows" it's so crowded because of delays, been told to get off a train because it had mechanical problems and catch a train that's on a completely opposite platform, been claustrophobic in the station waiting for the train... once I was on a train that got disabled and they had to pull another train next to us and we had to JUMP from one train to the other between the tracks! And it's all always Amtrak's fault because they "own the tracks"...But Kristin I feel bad for you, I know how it is, it is NOT fun but glad you finally got home.
