I agree, I felt like half the cast was miscast. But no way am I going to see the sequel I don't think.

I liked the French & Saunders spoof version of it better. One of the guys was replaced by a turnip dangling on the end of a bit of string.

I saw Her Sister´s Keeper and I have to admit, I didn´t like it. It´s planned and made to make you cry, while Cameron Diaz´s character is terribly inlikeable. I like Diaz and I think she deserves to get better roles but this character wasn´t very well written.

Ade's got a serious job being serious on serious BBC pot-boiler Casualty. It's the most bizarre thing ever watching Vyvian as a medical professional.

Part 1Part 2Phillip Glennister's final musical number of 'buh buh buh' is probably one of the best things ever.

It's funny that Lenny Henry (Dawn French's husband) has been all serious playing Othello on stage.

Speaking of Lenny Henry, they used to show Chef! here on PBS (years back, when it was actually, you know, on TV) and I thought that was a really funny, well-written show. Liked it very much. But your television structure with sitcoms is so different from ours, where there's 20 episodes spanning three seasons (or series), and here it would be like 66 or more.

BBC TV used to be 6 shows a series. Always. Regardless of genre. They've started branching out into 8 for comedy and 13 for drama to make it easier to reach syndication-requirement levels, but the 6-shows-a-series was standard for decades. Random trivial fact- The first 6 series of Red Dwarf were 6 episodes long each. That gave them 36 episodes. Series 7 & 8 were eight episodes each to bring the total number of episodes up to 52, making it more easily syndicated internationally on a one-a-week broadcast pattern. Was in fact one of the first BBC sitcoms to break the 6-episode format.

Add me to the supporters of "It's Complicated", I thought Streep, Baldwin, and Martin were all good in it.

That majorly sucks!!! Spiderman 3 was HORRIBLE, as was X3, and POTC 3, all 3 of those were so unnecessary. Here's hoping Batman 3 is awesome.

I quite liked POTC3 actually, but I get the impression I was in a minority. It's like the movie version of the music industry cliche of the 'difficult third album'

Yeah, first album you make your success, sophomore effort, you plant yourself firmly in the mainstream, third album is the "difficult" one. So true. Although with Duran Duran, their third album was their most successful, I believe. "Her name is Rio and she dances on the sand"... (that's for Mindi) There's a really funny bit from South Park with that song.

All I remember about the third one was Depp being hilarious when he was on that white sand island thing hallucinating, and then some point after that I fell asleep and when I woke up, the spirit lady was HUGE. Can't say I ever actually saw the thing. And this was in the theaters too, one of the few times I actually fell asleep.

Depp being insane was probably the best part of it, and Keira Knighley was super-annoying in it, but at least Jack didn't stop being mental after he got off the white desert plane. Also, bonus Keith Richards.

Depp is the main reasons as to why I even remotely enjoy the movies, without him they'd be unnecessary to me.
