Not sure why I called it the "BWW pre-sale", LOL. It was somebody at BWW who reported having the same problem during the pre-sale. Hadn't thought of an id cloaker, that might work.

I recall seeing a post from somebody who had the same problem during the BWW pre-sale. It may have something to do with the site's automatic protections against what it "thinks" might be a ticket broker. I'm not sure if they had a solution besides maybe just waiting. Have you cleared cache, cookies, etc. Looking for that BWW thread ... Okay, what the heck, not finding it. Maybe it was posted here? I know I saw a discussion about this exact problem recently. Found it. Not much help, I'm afraid, but you are not alone (unless this was you, LOL): www.broadwayworld.com/board/readmessage.php?thread=1073201&dt=4Maybe the old site address that somebody mentions there would be something the try, if you haven't already. If you're able to connect to any other site, but not Telecharge, then it's not your router, it's most likely what Sue said, they're denying access because of too many hits from you on the site. If you have something like Identity Cloaker or Tunnel Bear, you can try using a different IP address, but other than that, I would wait a day and see if you can access it. Just remember that it's probably IP-based, because it's not working on any device on your home network, so clearing your cookies won't solve that problem, and if you have passwords and logins stored for any sites, those will no longer be entered for you. If you're in a hurry, maybe you can use someone else's wifi, any retail place that has wifi (like when i moved and had to wait TWO weeks for Time Warner to come install my cable, so I spent a lot of time at Barnes & Noble) or, if you can access the Internet at work, try that. Thanks Kristin (and Sue) for the advice. I must have been perceived as a broker given how often I check for seats. I have been playing at work without a problem but need to have access at home for sudden ticket releases. Good idea, I may have to cloak.

If I see one more $#@%!^ing headline about how Hugh would really like to see the X-Men do a crossover movie with the Avengers, I may just scream.

Just thought I'd pop in to say hello. I still lurk here. My real life is getting very large and uncontrollable but I do like following the posts here even though I'm not such a regular poster. Places like this are a welcome escape

Is this just me or is the board acting funky? I quoted one of Wombat's posts yesterday to reply and as I was typing my message all of a sudden the "you are working on a draft, do you want to keep it" box came up and I clicked "no" and it posted Wombat's message in the quote area all by itself. I tried it again and it posted, but then I tried to delete the other one with no message, and the down arrow button that shows all choices didn't work, nothing happened when I clicked it. It's the box with the down arrow and the little gear, neither one worked. I tried to delete as admin - that came up, but the delete still didn't work. I tried it on my phone and it worked there, so I deleted it from my phone.
Is my computer acting up or is someone else having this problem? Anyone know how to fix it?

Haven't noticed anything weird, but I've mostly been posting from my phone or tablet these last couple of days, and mysterious stuff always goes on when I do that, lol.

Yeah, it is. I'm using Firefox and I emptied my cache, and now naturally I can't get on Twitter since I had to reinput my info and the Password button isn't working, just like here. I switched to IE and the same thing is happening. Must be something on my end.

Now that you mention it, I did have that happen to me for a brief spell a while back ... many months ago. It somehow cleared up, not sure how or why, but it was very frustrating to type a whole post and then just lose everything.

Well hopefully that will happen here! Maybe it's the ISP since hubby says he's having the same problem on some sites.

A conversation a few minutes ago with one of my bosses - he has clients coming in so we just bought they tickets for Jersey Boys and Les Miz. I told him I was going to see Les Miz on Saturday and I mentioned I saw the movie about twenty times (exaggeration? Not sure!). He said he saw the Broadway show years ago but had no desire to see the movie. So kidding around, I said I said "my honey" LOL was in the movie - that got a chuckle out of him, and then he said "the wolf man?" Grrrr....

Ugh. I assume you did not tell your boss to STFU, although it was surely tempting. That must have been hard to laugh off. People and their immutable preconceived notions...

My guess is (1) he doesn't like musicals and was forced to see the stage show or (2) he's seen the musical so he doesn't need to see the movie. I know too many people like that.

Well lo and behold, the computer is WORKING again, I can click things that didn't work before and now they do. I did a registry cleaner/defrag which took forever and then "restore advance settings" and "reset internet explorer settings." I swear I've been doing the last two but maybe it had to be cleaned out, but whatever, it seems to have been fixed. Now I can search Twitter again and quote things LOL.
